About Dr. Lovlien

Dr. Tom Lovlien is a Board Certified specialist in orthodontics. This means that he has received two years of additional specialty training in orthodontics after graduation from dental school and has successfully passed the rigorous examination process of the American Board of Orthodontics.

Dr. Lovlien received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin and attended Marquette University for his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree and Master of Science degree in Orthodontics. Providing orthodontic care to his patients since 1984, he is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Wisconsin Dental Association and the founding member of the Wisconsin Orthodontic Study Club. Dr. Lovlien is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and is a member of the College of Diplomates.

His favorite past times include, woodworking, alpine skiing, riding motorcycles and boating. Dr. Lovlien also received the 100 Ton Master’s License in the United States Coast Guard.
