We thoroughly explain your options, so that we can accommodate your needs. We also offer discounts for payments made with cash and for multiple family members seeking simultaneous treatment.

Insurance

If your insurance covers orthodontic treatment, you will receive the benefit of reduced personal costs. We will work with you and your insurance company to ensure you receive your maximum benefits. We accept assignment of insurance checks and will be happy to file insurance claims for you. Please remember that orthodontic insurance is a benefit for you or your child. If, during the course of treatment, your benefits change, the financially responsible party is accountable for all charges.

How does orthodontic insurance work?

Although orthodontic insurance will help reduce your personal costs, it is different from regular dental insurance. Many insurance policies have a lifetime orthodontic benefit that is distinct from regular dental insurance, and rarely covers the full cost of treatment. The benefit is paid over the course of treatment. Remember that insurance policies vary, and we will review your insurance to determine the appropriate course of action.

How will our office assist you with your insurance?

We will submit insurance claim forms to your insurance companies that will describe the orthodontic problem, length of treatment and financial arrangements for reimbursement to you for payments made for treatment.
